Kim’s dreams are what fantasies are made of. Since she moved into her new house, her nights have been filled by a magnificent stranger, a stranger who knows how to use his hands, his lips and his body to bring Kim an ecstasy she has never known. When her dream lover appears in person, will Kim’s days be as fulfilling as her nights? And why is Kim’s best friend, Jill, so wary about her house – and so adamant that Kim not send her lover on his way?

Lacey Diamond’s Stranger in The Night is a mysterious novella that is full of secrets. I never foresaw any of the plotline, in part undoubtedly because the synopsis gives away so little. The opening scene is sure to grab your attention, as it did mine. Throughout your imagination will be held hostage, especially when it comes to the history of the house (about which I’ll be saying no more *evil cackle*). Kim’s character was well developed, though the development of the other characters was limited so as to provide the tale with its mystique (which worked wonderfully). The sex between Kim and Tyler (Kim’s lover) is described in detail and is fairly adventurous. Dessert toppings and popsicles are put to good use, though not in the way the manufacturer had likely intended *g*. The ending came around fairly quickly, but rather than being a happily-ever-after it was more of a potential happily-ever-after. The future was not definitively put to the reader by the author, but rather left to the reader’s imagination. Stranger In The Night is a good read, great if you want something very mysterious and completely unforeseeable.
